New MICHELIN Stars to be awarded at the annual ceremony; first time event will be held In Ireland.
We are delighted to share that we are bringing the MICHELIN Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2026 awards ceremony to Ireland for the first time ever. The prestigious event will take place on 9th February 2026 at The Convention Centre Dublin.
Since its inception in 1974, this marks the first time the ceremony will be hosted outside Great Britain – a milestone that underscores Ireland’s reputation as a world-class food destination and celebrates the collective achievements of the chefs, restaurants, producers, and distributors who continue to drive its culinary success.
The MICHELIN Guide, renowned for awarding MICHELIN Stars, Green Stars, and Bib Gourmands, remains the global benchmark of culinary excellence. Ireland continues to shine on this stage, boasting five Two-MICHELIN-Starred and 18 One-MICHELIN-Starred restaurants across the island.
The 2026 launch ceremony will welcome chefs from MICHELIN-Starred restaurants across Great Britain and Ireland, alongside journalists, influencers, partners, and hospitality leaders. The evening will see the unveiling of new MICHELIN Stars and Special Awards, celebrating the exceptional talent shaping the culinary landscape.
